Controlling your weight through science, diet, and exercise has been shown to help you live longer and protect you from type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke and high blood pressure.
Obesity is rampant in our society today and, as a result, our society's life expectancy has been dropping. It is apparent that if you control your weight, you can control your future. What you should look for in a weight loss program is one that incorporates a healthy balanced eating diet with a routine of exercise. Do not do any starvation type diets, they just make your body more efficient at storing fat. Slow and steady weight loss is the key.
